BE ATEX: French specialist in gas risk detection and warning systems

Oct 2, 2020 | Case studies

Founded in the Toulouse region in 2008, BE ATEX specializes in the implementation of solutions for gas hazards in France and abroad.

An expert in gas detection and Class 3 PPE, the company supports a wide range of industries and local authorities. With 25 employees across France, BE ATEX is a human-sized company capable of ensuring responsiveness, versatility and expertise on all types of projects involving fixed and portable gas detection systems.

Sales manager at BE ATEX since 2018, Valentin Edmond-Mariette regularly calls on ADF systèmes for “turnkey” gas detection projects requiring the integration of warning and signalling systems for his customers.

After working for ADF Systèmes for eleven years, Valentin wanted to change his point of view, moving from the Distributor side to the Integrator side.

Joining BE ATEX was an opportunity for him to take on a new professional challenge: developing the company’s sales in the northern French market, Guadeloupe and Martinique.

Although he has left ADF Systèmes for a new adventure, he remains loyal to the company, aware of the quality of its teams, its technical knowledge and its expertise in industrial warning systems.

“I know the technical nature of the products offered by ADF Systèmes and its expertise for industrial and ATEX environments.”

As a specialist in solutions for gas hazards, BE ATEX provides its customers with technical support, based on its excellent knowledge of their businesses and regulations, its understanding of their operating procedures, and its ability to adapt resources to their working environments. We also provide on-site and workshop maintenance services.

Gas companies (GRDF, GRT gaz, TEREGA), Public entities (hospitals, Services Départementaux d’Incendie et de Secours), Industrial sites (SIAAP, Total, Sobegi, Arkema….) Each business requires precise identification of the risks and gases to be detected (CO, H₂S, O₂, NO₂, SO₂, NH₃, Cl₂, ClO₂, PH₃, HCN, Cl₂, ClO₂, O₃…). See BE ATEX gas guide.

The detectors proposed by BE ATEX must therefore meet the various constraints (business, environmental, etc.), and be capable of detecting the slightest anomaly on a safety or production line, or during an intervention.

While the company supplies a large number of portable gas detectors and Class 3 PPE, BE ATEX supports numerous industries and ERP (Etablissement recevant du public) in the implementation of fixed gas detection and warning solutions in ATEX environments.

“ADF Systèmes offers genuine technical support in the supply of equipment. The human aspect and customer relations are at the heart of their approach.”

“Risks are inherent to every field of activity. BE ATEX and ADF Systèmes work to implement the best warning solutions for ATEX and non-ATEX zones.”

As Valentin Edmond-Mariette explains, it’s not possible to install just any siren in just any environment. Taking into account various aspects such as ambient noise, the surface area to be covered, the environment (wet or dusty) and ATEX zoning is therefore essential to ensure an effective, long-lasting installation.

Once the requirements have been determined and the solution recommended by BE ATEX, the company installs and commissions the detection system. Calibration of the gas sensors is an essential step in ensuring the safety of the site.

“We offer complete gas detection solutions. We have chosen specialist signaling partners to ensure the best warning system for our customers.”

Today, Valentin assures us, if BE ATEX has been able to develop its network of customers throughout France, it’s because the company is particularly demanding in the selection of its partner suppliers, such as ADF Systèmes, to best meet its customers’ needs.

Thanks to its multi-brand offering and genuine technical expertise in the various solutions it implements, the company is now able to ensure responsiveness and reliability for numerous companies and ERPs in France.

You too can rely on ADF Systèmes for your warning and signage solutions. Benefit from personalized support and receive your quotation in less than 72 hours.
