How is it formed and what are its benefits?   <\/strong>ADF Syst\u00e8mes takes stock.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is GRP or PRV?<\/h2>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>GRP is an acronym for Glass Reinforced Plastic <strong>. <\/strong>Composed mainly of a polymer matrix supplemented by glass fibers, this ultra-polyvalent material can be <strong>used to manufacture a wide range of equipment<\/strong>, including<strong> explosion-proof and enhanced safety equipment. <\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is GRP material manufactured?<\/h3>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>In general, the GRP polymer matrix is a<strong> thermosetting resin<\/strong> such as epoxy, vinyl ester or polyester. The resin used gives the alloy its<strong> resistance to chemical effluents<\/strong>. Its hardening is generated by the addition of a catalyst.    <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is fiberglass made?  <\/h3>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>Glass fiber is incorporated<strong> during the production process to reinforce the polymer matrix<\/strong>. If these products are present in high concentrations, the resistance of GRP is equal to that of metal. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Non-corrosive:<\/strong> Better than aluminum, GRP is at least as resistant as stainless steel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Virtually zero maintenance: <\/strong>Our GRP equipment can be &#8220;set and forget&#8221;. The immediate benefit is lower equipment maintenance costs. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flame retardant: <\/strong>Successfully passed ISO 1210 standard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U.V. stability: <\/strong>GRP has proven its resistance to accelerated aging for over 50 years. Tests passed include ISO 4892, ISO 179 and EN 50014. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Thermal stability:<\/strong> Most of our equipment is certified for use from -55\u00b0C to +55\u00b0C. This means they can be installed anywhere in the world.
