It makes it possible to estimate : <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The probability of an explosive atmosphere,  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The probability of ignition of these explosive atmospheres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The extent of foreseeable consequences.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The ATEX assessment also requires prior ATEX zoning.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The aim? To be able to produce a <strong>Document Relative \u00e0 la Protection Contre les Explosions (DRPCE)<\/strong> which will serve as the basis for the audit.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"comment-se-deroule-un-bilan-de-conformite-atex\">How does an ATEX conformity assessment work?<\/h2>\n\n<p>The ATEX audit is carried out by experts within a strict regulatory framework.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In general, it is carried out in three stages: <strong>observation, analysis and feedback. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p>First of all, the audit begins with a time devoted to visiting and observing the installations.  <\/p>\n\n<p>This stage also involves<strong> examining and analyzing available documentation on ATEX risk<\/strong>, organization and safety (single document, DRPCE, etc.).  <\/p>\n\n<p>Next, the audit team analyzes risk management itself, in each zone:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identifying hot spots ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying spark hazard areas ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checking marking, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of people exposed ;  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>If necessary, ATEX experts revise the <strong>risk hierarchy<\/strong> and issue new recommendations for action on residual risks.  <\/p>\n\n<p>After evaluation, a detailed report is submitted to the decision-makers. It generally includes :   <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Defining priorities for action to address the risk of explosion ;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Validation of actions taken to reduce risk;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Redirecting ill-defined actions<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Identifying gaps<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Suggestions for deleting actions not required by regulations.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Proposal of alternative solutions.  <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>We remind you that an ATEX compliance audit is not a risk assessment.
